I am also a veteran. Also, I have served in small town government. I can win because I can offer you more experience, more depth and width of education and problem solving. I am seeking this office because it is time to give you, the voter, a second opinion and many more years experience.
I support giving the children an broader education that includes the arts and music. Educated children are a huge asset to Canyon County. If you think education is expensive, just think of the cost of ignorance that we see in our prisons. I am listening.
Healthcare for all is actually a good investment for our society. I especially support the SCHIP program. I was a caregiver for my parents for six years and understand that challenge very well.
Illegal immigration is a huge hot button, a problem that needs to be addressed with real thought. We can do it if we address it calmly, directly and intelligently. I am listening.
